Usage and credits

CallingBox is pay-per-minute. You buy credits, they get used when calls connect, and you can see exactly where your money goes in the dashboard.

Pricing

Ringing, voicemail detection, and unanswered calls don’t cost anything. You only pay for time someone actually picks up.

The Usage page shows:

Click Add credits to buy more through Stripe. Credits hit your balance within seconds.

Open the dialog

Click Add credits from the Usage page or the sidebar footer.

Pick an amount

Choose how much you want and head to checkout.

Pay

Stripe handles payment. Your balance updates almost immediately.

When you create a call, CallingBox reserves credits from your balance upfront. Once the call finishes:

If someone answered, you’re charged for the connected time
If nobody answered (no answer, busy, failed), the reservation is released. No charge.

The call object has these billing fields:

Field	What it is
`duration_seconds`	Total call duration
`billed_duration_seconds`	The connected portion you pay for
`billing_amount_milli_cents`	Actual charge in milli-cents
`reservation_status`	`reserved`, `settled`, or `released`
